Grief Counseling

Grief counseling helps individuals cope with the emotional pain of losing a loved one or experiencing other significant losses. It provides a compassionate space to process emotions, adjust to life changes, and find meaning after loss. The goal is not to “move on” from grief but to help individuals navigate it in a healthy and supportive way.

Grief counseling may assist individuals who are:

  • Struggling to accept a loss

  • Experiencing sadness, guilt, or anger

  • Feeling numb or detached

  • Having difficulty functioning in daily life

  • Facing loss through death, divorce, or major life change

  • Seeking to honor the memory of a loved one while healing

These symptoms can interfere with daily life and well-being, and seeking treatment can help individuals learn strategies to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
